Granite was born on our farm, he is and always has been a sweet boy and would make the perfect pet.
He was born with fiber loss on his belly and nose. After a trip to university, a biopsy and it was determined it is an autoimmune disorder (genetic) and this is why he is a non-breeder. We had his mother with us as well with the same issue and she too is a non-breeder now. (She too is for sale if you're interested.) It has not affected his health in any way, it just makes him look a little different than most alpacas.
He truly is a sweet boy and would be good for any good loving home who can see his special loving side and not his hair loss.
